   1. Owner’s Copyright – Availability to be determined on receipt of request and for personal use only and only on written undertaking of requester that republication is prohibited.
   2. Copyright of Others – Availability to be determined after consultation with copyright holder on receipt of request and subject to conditions applicable to access at that stage.

Section 51(1)(f)

Fees in Respect of Request for Information

Fees in respect of Private Bodies

      1                    The fee for a copy of the Manual as contemplated in Regulation 9(2)(c) is R1,25 for every photocopy of an A4 page or part thereof

2                    The fees for reproduction referred to in Regulation 11(1) are as follows:-

a.      For every photocopy of an A4 sized page or part thereof R1,25

b.      For every printed copy of an A4 sized page or part thereof held on a computer or in electronic or machine-readable form: R1,25

c.      For a copy of a computer-readable form on compact disc: R70,00

d.      For a hard copy of each visual image printed 150mmx100mm: R30,00

3                    To search for and prepare the record for disclosure: R80,00 for every hour or part of an hour

4                    For the purposes of Section 54(2) of the Act, the following applies:

a.      Six hours as the hours to be exceeded before a deposit is payable; and

b.      One third of the access fee is payable as a deposit by the requester.

c.      Subject always to the requirement that all fees are paid before the information is provided

5                    The actual Post Office cost of Registration and Postage and the direct costs of Packaging
