THE 2011 ROYAL WELSH SHOW

Welsh Mountain Ponies were judged by Mr John Russell of the Gartconnel Stud in Scotland who had as his champion (Sadly John Russell died shortly after judging the Royal Welsh Show)

the Grey Senior Stallion Stonedge Samuel by Winneydene Bari out of Gartconnel Socks. Samuel went on to win the RWAS in-hand Championship as well as the Cuddy Supreme in-hand Championship

Welsh Ponies were judged by Mr D Wynne Jones of the Telynau Stud in Caernarfon who had as his champion

the Chestnut 2 year old Filly Cadlan Valley Georgia by Russelwood Elation out of Stockham Domino. She was also reserve to the Tom and Sprightly Perpetual Cup winner and was reserve in both the RWAS in-hand Championship as well as the Cuddy Supreme in-hand Championship

Welsh Ponies of Cob Type were judged by Mr W Geraint Jones of the Nebo Stud in Ceredigion who had as his champion

the Bay 10 year old Stallion Bryncarryg Lightning Jack by Nebo Bouncer out of Bryncarreg Cinderella

and as his reserve champion

the Chestnut Roan 4 year old Brood mare Hywi Pollyanna by Thorneyside the Intruder out of Tyas Little Madam

Welsh Cobs were judged by Mr Robert Manchip of the Ffald Stud at Pontyclun.

The Male Championship was contested by

the Bay 3 year old Colt Geler Mathias by Geler Sparc out of Geler Hannah

the Black Junior Stallion Trevallion Black Harry by Trevallion Harry out of Trevallion Pearl

the Bay Senior Stallion Powysvalley Mr Harry by Trevallion Harry out of Powysvalley Miss Molly

The Male Championship was won by Trevallion Black Harry with Geler Mathias as Reserve

The Female Champion was

the Senior Brood Mare Abergavenny Morning Queen by Trevallion Harry out of Felinmor Morning Magic

and the Reserve Champion was

the Junior Brood Mare Fronarth Super Model by Derwen Desert Express out of Fronarth Welsh Model

The George Prince of Wales Cup was won by

Abergavenny Morning Queen

and the Reserve was

Trevallion Black Harry
