This being the centenary year, a spectacular Centenary Cavalcade was presented which ended with the singing of the Welsh Anthem Hen Wlad Fy Nhadau (Land of my Fathers) sung as only a Welsh audience can – makes one feel goose bumps all over.

A thoroughly enjoyable show. We encourage all Welsh Pony and Cob enthusiasts to visit at least once the Royal Welsh Show because it is an unforgettable experience. But book early because accommodation is at a premium in Builth Wells during the Royal Welsh week. Make a note of the dates for next year’s show to be held as usual at Builth Wells from July 18 to 21, 2005.
