Freyja Stud, owned by Gustav and Glynis Karlsson, was situated on the farm Bergfontein on the lower reaches of the Langeberg Mountains in the Albertinia district of the Western Cape Province of South Africa.
We closed the stud in 2015 and sold to or loaned some of the imported and special Cobs and Ponies to other studs, notably the Waterside Stud and the Meifod Stud in Gauteng. We have retained some of the imported mares in George.
